LogiAcademy was founded on the belief that most, if not all, children are capable of performing at very high levels, if they feel that they belong to such levels.

At LogiAcademy, we enhance students’ critical thinking and clarity of expression, and put their newly-earned skills to the test through participation in math competitions at national and international levels.

The founders of LogiAcademy are consummate professionals with a passion for teaching. Ervin Merkuri holds an M.S. in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. Galina Vereschagina, LogiAcademy Co-Founder, holds a PhD in Economics from Charles University, CERGE-EI.

Before starting LogiAcademy, Ervin and Galina volunteered in teaching school enrichment programs for many years, training students to participate in math competitions, primarily for Noetic and Math Kangaroo. Our involvement started in 2016 at SanTan Charter school when our daughter was in second grade, continued at Town Meadows Elementary, and more recently at Neeley Traditional Academy, which our son is presently attending, every time with great results.

Having noticed the improvement in students’ aptitude for solving mathematical problems every time we offered training sessions, we decided to offer LogiClubs as after-school programs at various schools, starting with San Tan Charter elementary, which is a place of great memories for both our children.
